Ziwa philosophy
Ziwa Bush Lodge offers a personalized boutique experience to its guests with just six double units, three twin units and one family unit all containing spacious en-suites. Each individual room is made from local stone, canvas and makuti roofing (folded palm leaves) with its beautifully and uniquely handcrafted wooden furniture made on site by Kenyans living in and around Nakuru town.

OUR STORY
Ziwa Bush Lodge was started 8 years ago with a sole purpose to support EAST AFRICAN MISSION ORPHANAGE.(EAMO) a charity organisation started 25 yrs ago by an Australian Family. Raising funds consistently to support 250 orphaned Kenyan kids at one point, was becoming harder by day, hence the birth of Ziwa Bush Lodge. Therefore for every booking made, 3% goes towards the support of East African Mission Orphanage. We highly appreciate your support.

We loved our stay here. Loved our ‘posh African huts’, friendly staff, the quiet setting, delicious food, watching the weaver birds at meal times, the pool, the hot water bottle at night - but most especially meeting the wonderful children at the orphanage - built and supported by the owners of Ziwa Bush Lodge. It’s good to know you are helping these children by staying at Ziwa, as well as staying in a fabulous place, near Nakuru game park but far enough away from Nakuru to be peaceful. My teenage children, husband and I all loved it. Thank you.
It was absolutly perfect ! Beautifull hotel, really good food , excelent attention. Good prices . The bedroom was súper nice , big. In the night they bring you a hot waterbag for bed .

We loved this place! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was beautiful. The turndown service with the hot water bottles made for a nice comfy bed after a full day exploring nearby Nukuru National Park.
